FYI: If the house OR building needs work and it’s less than $20,000 we will still lend up to 70% LTV. We will ask for a general contractor’s estimate for work and hold 1.5 times the cost of the improvements/construction in escrow until the work is done.
We will also make exceptions to the 1.5 rule or the $20,000 max loan amount if the loan is solid.
