Townhouse snagged for record price by Neil Patrick Harris (Harlem)

Last October this four-story, 8000-sq-ft townhouse at 2036 Fifth Avenue in Harlem made everyone’s jaws drop when it went under contract for the full asking price of $4 million. It was later confirmed that this neighborhood record-setting purchase was made by the one and only, Neil Patrick Harris. That and the townhouse didn’t sell for quite the $4 million as originally thought as Neil grabbed it for a (still record shattering) steal at only $3.6 million. The current floorplan has the house setup as four separate spaces (two units, owners’s triplex, and commercial duplex), however, as it’s unlikely that Neil wishes to be a landlord expect construction as he turns it into one huge mansion.
